Tumwater Veterinary Hospital - (360) 754-6008

I have lived in Thurston County for 25 years and my animals have been to most of the veterinarians in the area at one time or another. Tumwater Veterinary Hospital is definitely the best in my book. The veterinarians and staff are skilled, knowledgeable, and customer (owners and pets) friendly. Dr. Lina is exceptional. She takes the time to listen to you and thorougly examine your pet. In unusual circumstances, Dr. Lina has gone out of her way to research inovative treatments rather than just relying on a quick fix. Dr. Bennett is great too, but Dr. Lina is the greatest.

We took our Sun Conure (bird) to see Dr. Bennett a few times this year. He was very nice and compassionate. When he felt that he had done all he could, he didn't hesitate to send us to a specialist up in Tacoma. I would definitely recommend this vet!

I've been taking my pets to Tumwater Vet for years. My dog is seen by Dr. Bennett. He really takes the time to make sure my dog is comfortable with him, often kneeling down to the dog's level and greeting him thouroughly. He also explains things very well. When we are considering anything, he goes over the pros and cons of it, including accurate information about the cost associated, and makes sure we are comfortable with our decisions before proceeding. Our cats are seen by Dr. Wachsmuth. I have one ferocious kitty, but Dr. W isn't put off from seeing her in any way. She always manages to elicit a purr from our cat, who tends to bite anyone within 5 yards if they are not me. The office staff are always friendly and professional. They call us ahead of time in the (rare) instance the Dr.'s are running behind.
